Online theory
Our PPL(H) theoretical course is divided into two modules, covering all 9 theory subjects required for PPL(H). These subjects are spread evenly over the weeks, typically focusing on one subject per week. With a study commitment of approximately 15 hours per week, the course can be completed in as little as 9 weeks. For those who need more time, the duration can be extended up to 18 months.
Between the two modules, there is an online classroom week where students will have live sessions with our instructors. These sessions typically take place in the afternoon and last a total of 6 hours per module, spread throughout the week for a flexible learning experience.
Upon enrollment, you’ll have access to a personalized training dashboard that outlines your schedule, target dates for lessons, and progress assessments. This dashboard is your primary tool for tracking progress and managing both online and classroom components, as well as asking questions to our instructors for additional support during the self study part of the course.
We prioritize flexibility, allowing you to start the course whenever it suits your schedule, giving you the freedom to manage your training around your life and responsibilities.

Entry requirements
Applicants should be at least 17 years old, but you can start the theoretical portion of the course before reaching this age.
A good command of English, both spoken and written, is essential. Applicants must provide a valid certificate confirming their English proficiency at an operational level (ICAO Level 4) or higher. You’ll need this certificate later in your training, so we recommend obtaining it conveniently online with us.
Already Hold a Licence? Enjoy a shortened PPL(H) theory program!
If you already hold a PPL, CPL, or ATPL in another aircraft category, you can receive credit towards the theoretical knowledge requirements for your PPL(H). The same credit applies to applicants holding a BPL or SPL.
This means you won’t need to study or take exams for the common subjects, which include Air Law, Human Performance, Meteorology, Communications, and Navigation.
