From that first meeting, the dream of VictorOne Flight School became a reality, and we have been working tirelessly ever since to ensure that every student who walks through our doors receives the highest level of training and support.
So who are we?
We are a team of six aviation enthusiasts, each with an unique background.
- Anže, our Head of Training Instructor, is a seasoned major European airline pilot who brings his vast knowledge to our students. He started as a bleep pilot (a test pilot for ATC schooling) in his student years, progressed to a flight instructor and worked all the way up to the Airbus A340/320 cockpit.
- Jaka works as a pilot in the business jet industry. Despite his young age, he was eager to pursue his aviation dreams, which he has now fulfilled. In his free time, he continues to share his knowledge as a flight and theoretical instructor, determined to help others fulfill their aviation dreams too.
- Matic is our air traffic controller. He has passed all the ATPL exams and had even prepared several applications to be hired as an airline pilot. But before he sent them, he passed the FEAST test for air traffic controller application. Although he is now working in ATC, he is also a flight instructor. In that way, he shares his unique perspective and ATC insights from a pilot’s point of view.
- Maja is a licensed commercial pilot. She also knows the struggle, yet the joy to pass the ATPL exams. She now works as a dispatcher in a business airline, where she is now responsible for planning the flights.
- Anže (the other Anže 😉 ) is our accountable manager. He has a degree in electrical engineering, but he has also a private pilot license. He loves flying and is planning to start his ATPL studies soon. He uses his responsibility traits from his job in electrical engineering combined with the insights into the aviation world to ensure quality management of our team.
- Lastly, our marketing manager Alex, is a private pilot and a professional biathlete. Although he competes among the best in the world cup and is a double junior world champion, he is now finishing his ATPL studies with the goal of becoming an airline pilot. Alex uses his experience from the world cup to navigate competition, strategy, and teamwork in our marketing efforts.
